For people who like pictures

Because a major purpose of this blog is to keep family and friends updated on our lives from out here in the midwest, we try to also provide you with as many photos of our happenings as we can remember to take. We have a link on this blog to a flickr site that allows us to upload innumerable photos for your viewing enjoyment.


I figured that I would give you a quick rundown on how this site works in case anyone is interested in downloading any of the pictures off of the website for yourselves (this is mostly for moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas and brothers and sisters, maybe) With a downloaded copy of the pictures on flickr, you could even order your own prints.


So, first, you need to go to the flickr site, which you can do by clicking here or by clicking the link on the right where it says "Click here to see more of Dave & Katie's photos."


Once you are on the flickr site, you will see a page full of various photos that are about 2 inches x 2 inches. like this:

If you want a closer look you can click on one of the photos with the pointer hand as shown in the picture of Katie looking at the pond.

After clicking on the photo, a new screen will appear that looks like this:

At this point, you can click on the tab above the photo that says, "All sizes" and has the magnifying glass next to it. After clicking on that tab, a new screen will appear like this:






Now from here you can download your own copy of the photo to your computer at the size that you would like. Then you can either just leave them on your computer or order prints if you would like as well.
