Last week we celebrated Zoe's second birthday. It was about 2 weeks early, but Katie's parents were in town for her brother's graduation from med school so, we decided to do it then. It was a nice little party. Katie made alot of really good food. Zoe had fun trying to blow out her candles. When it came time to open presents, Zoe was so excited. She has been obsessed with baby dolls for the last couple of months. We got her a little baby doll, a baby crib and and a stroller for her baby. We figured if we get her started out early enough, then she will know how to take care of Asher for us when he is born. If only we can get her to learn how to feed and change diapers.
Since her party, her baby goes EVERYWHERE with her.
She has also been playing a lot in her sandbox lately. Her favorite activity involves taking the sand out of the box and putting it all over the swings on the swingset and the slide. That means that there are piles of sand under the swings and the slide. We had to get after her a lot until she finally decided it would be possible to play with the sand inside the sandbox and still have it be fun.

Happy Birthday Zoe! So you guys already have a name all picked out for the new addition? Asher, right? That's cute. Where did you get it from? How's Katie feeling? I'm ready to POP!
