It has been a busy summer as we have been working on finishing up school. (Yeah!!!!!!) We have made three trips back to Colorado trying to secure a job, had a very fun visit from Dave's dad, had family pictures taken, and have been just trying to get in all the things that we meant to do while in Missouri. So since I don't really enjoy blogging and use any excuse not to, that's all I am going to say about our summer. If you want to find out more give me a call I'd love to talk(any excuse not to do housework).
The only regret I have about my blogging vacation is that I missed recording little day to day stories about my children. I blog about these more for me than anyone, as I want a family history of when my children where young. Plus when I don't blog I don't take pictures. I am the worst at taking pictures. At least my children won't be able to complain about unfairness in the amount of pictures taken of them when they were babies. I have been equally terrible with both of them. However I have a few to post so I can show how cute and big my children are getting. I am mostly going to blog about Zoe, because Asher turns one on Thursday and I will post a big blog about him then (or around then give or take a few months).
Zoe has been working on learning her alphabet, so I made her a fishing game with magnetic lettered fish. Each fish has an example of the capital and lower case of whatever letter. We were playing with it one afternoon, she would catch a fish, bring to me, I would tell her the letter, and she would repeat it. It was working well until we got to the letter U.
"U" MOM
"Big me, little me" Zoe
"No this is the letter U" Mom
"Yes, big me, little me" Zoe
It took a few more times, but she caught on. Until we got to.......
"W" Mom
"Big double me, little double me" Zoe
I started to laugh, and so Zoe realized she had said something funny and would only call the letter W a double me from then on.

Zoe has taken to coping us. She does it on the sly, and we don't always caught her at it, but we had the camera ready for her Granny impression. I love it!!
And a few Asher pictures just because he is so cute.
